COGEGO ATTENDS SIC, THE INTERNATIONAL COFFEE EXHIBITION

Cogeco is among the 176 exhibitors participating in this year 18th edition of Fieramilano SIC – (Salone Internazionale del caffè)The International Coffee Exhibition – which will be held from the 23rd to the 27th of October 2009.

SIC Exhibition is a key event for all the professionals working in the coffee industry and is the ideal context for international coffee producers, importers and roasting companies to meet the major manufacturers of coffee processing and packaging equipment plus much more. Exhibitors attending SIC cover the whole coffee industry chain of production, from green coffee to coffee tasting, and they will have plenty of opportunities to discuss new trends and business opportunities during the various conference sessions and seminars organized.

This year’s SIC edition will be a great opportunity for Cogeco to present our two new specialty coffee entries which are very rare findings in the Italian espresso coffee market. At Cogeco, we have in fact just finalized the importing of two coffee types from El Salvador, in Central America, through the cooperation with a world renowned local producer. These are: Salvador SHG Naturales Batres Farm Aurum and Salvador Washed SHG Batres Farm 100% Bourbon, two very rare and delicious coffees which, so far, only a few “coffee connoissurs” had the chance to taste and enjoy. Featuring a typical smooth mouthful and a sweet aroma without being overtly acidic, El Salvador coffee types are pleasantly welcoming when it comes to mixing them with the other components to create top quality Italian espresso blends and are a guarantee of the highest quality standards. Cogeco is indeed very proud to be presenting exclusively at SIC Salvador SHG Naturales Batres Farm Aurum, with its balanced body of flavours, and Salvador Washed SHG Batres Farm 100% Bourbon, with its deep sage and lemony hints lingering in the espresso cup.
